The trial of the cause wherein Richard Kempster, surveyor to the commissioners of the Great Western Road, was plaintiff, and John Farhill, Esq., one of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the county of Surrey, defendant, for defamation of perjury : before Sir William Henry Ashhurst, knight, and a special jury at the last Lent Assizes, held in and for the county of Surrey : to which charge the defendant pleaded a special justification and the jury brought in a verdict of one penny damages
