Basket ball for women : as adopted by the Conference on Physical Training held in June 1899 at Springfield, Mass

Basketball was believed by many to be the ideal sport for women, because it was active without being rough. The rules for woman's basketball are presented here, as well as several essays on the healthy psychological effect of the sport on women.
