May 28th, 1800. : the following copies of authenticated letters from N. Hunter, "an accredited agent of Cato West, George Brandon ... and David Greenleaf--stiling themselves a committee regularly chosen by the inhabitants of the Mississippi Territory, for the purpose of petitioning for a redress of grievances," were received last evening by the governor and judges. They offer them to the editor of the "Impartial observer" for publication .
