Oxford Convention.
Report and resolutions of a convention which met at Oxford, N.C. on Tuesday Novermber 3, 1846 composed of delegates from several counties in Virginia and North Carolina. Under discussion was the feasibility of improvements to the navigation of the Roanoke, Dan and Staunton Rivers.
