Memorial of the National Medical Convention, held in Philadelphia, in May 1847.
The memorial, addressed to the Governor of Virginia, encourages governments of the several states of the Union, the adoption of measures for a general registration of the births, marriages, and deaths, which may occur within their respective borders.
