State of Rhode-Island, &c. In Council of War, June 16th, 1781. : Whereas it appears to this Council that the safety and internal security of this state renders it necessary that the militia force ... be relieved by an equal number of the remaining part of the militia force of this state ... Resolved, that the several towns ... furnish the same number of men ... before the 29th day of June .
