Item Description:Microfilm of records of the Adjutant General's Office, Record Group 94.
"These registers contain the names of enlisted men in the Regular Army, showing for each man when, where, and by whom he was enlisted, period of enlistment, place of birth, age, civilian occupation, personal description, organization assignment, and enlistment number, with pertinent remarks. The information in the registers was compiled by The Adjutant General's Office from enlistment papers, muster rolls of the Regular Army, and other records. The registers are generally arranged chronologically by groups of years, thereunder alphabetically by the initial letter of the surname of the soldier, and thereunder chronologically by date of enlistment."
