Description
Summary:'AIDS, our common problem' is a color illustrated book for new learners of Pulaar. It offers a didactic approach to learning about AIDS. It addresses the problem in the context of a mobile and dispersed Pulaar community in Africa, where there are more than 19 million people with AIDS (1997). The book has 3 parts: general information on AIDS and on its socio-economic consequences; preventive measures; and actions which a community group can undertake to address the problem of AIDS in their midst.
