We, the representatives of the colony of New Hampshire, in Congress assembled, have thought to advise, that Thursday the 30th of this instant November, be observed and kept as a day of publick thanksgiving throughout this colony .
November 4, 1775 Proclamation by the Congress in Exeter setting November 30th as a day of public thanksgiving for a good harvest, failure by its enemies to have the French and Indians fight against them, and hopes for a restoration of peace.
