At the General Assembly of the governor and Company of the English colony of Rhode-Island and Providence Plantations, in New-England, in America : begun and held at Newport ... on the first Wednesday in May, in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty-seven ... It is voted and resolved, that the whole of that paragraph of the act of the General Assembly, passed in 1746, requiring all the freemen then in the colony, and all that should afterwards be made free, to take an oath against bribery and corruption, be, and the same is hereby repealed .
