Done in Congress, this eighteenth day of October, 1780 .
October 18, 1780 broadside of a resolution from the United States Congress, and subsequently issued by Governor Jonathan Trumbull of Connecticut on November 2, 1780, to proclaim December 7th as a day of thanksgiving for all of God's blessings.
