Miêu tả
Mô tả sách:The long, rambling preface deals mainly with the Indians' right to land.
The principal poem (p. 19-78) is entitled: A brief account of the Agency of the Honourable John Winthrop, esq; in the court of King Charles the Second, Anno Dom. 1662. When he obtained for the Colony of Connecticut His Majesty's gracious charter.
A page of errata at end is followed by an "Advertisement" (3 p.) signed by Joseph Dewey, who, "having been something at charge in promoting the publishing the fore-going meditations," takes the liberty to advertise his country-people of some rules to be observed in preparing and weaving wool.
