Item Description: | In the appendix, p. 7-23 numbered 9-25 respectively. Apparently a revision and enlargement of a pamphlet published in London in 1634, entitled: "A relation of the successeful beginnings of the Lord Baltemore's plantation in fary-land." The earlier "Relation" was, possibly, based on a narrative written by Andrew white, the Jesuit father, who accompanied the first colonists to Maryland. cf. Steiner, Beginnings of Maryland, Baltimore, 1908, p. 8. Master microform held by: LCP. |
