Film of some 88,000 manuscript documents organized in folders by local area, then by province, then alphabetically by name of interviewee. Reels 1-3 reproduce a printed catalog of the collection by Ricardo Rojas (published in several v. from 1925-1938)
[Collection of] "songs, tales, testimonies, proverbs, and superstitions [...] collected [by elementary school teachers] in 1921 from informants, a majority of whom were at least 70, 80, or 90 years old and lived in rural areas [of Argentina]"--cf.
