Summary:1772 Calm and respectful thoughts on the negative of the Crown on a speaker chosen and presented by the representatives of the people, occasioned by some publications in the Georgia Gazette, in May and June 1772, where the Assembly was charged with encroaching on the rights of the Crown. Written by John Joachim Zubly, he stated that the the rights and liberties of the people superseded contrary instructions by the King.
