Transcription of the record of the negotiation and signing of the treaty of February 22, 1855, made and entered into at Washington, D.C., by and between George W. Manypenny, Commissioner of Indian Affairs, on the part of the United States, and the chiefs and delegates of the Mississippi, Pillager, and Lake Winnibigoshish bands of Chippewa Indians and the record of an interview had between George W. Manypenny, Commissioner of Indian Affairs, and said chiefs and delegates on March 8, 9, and 10, 1855, with references to the provisions of said treaty.
