Popis jednotky:Publised irregularly and edited by Henry Barnard (who later became United States Commissioner of Education), the Connecticut Common School Journal was established as an organ of the Connecticut Board of Commissioners of Common Schools and was one of the most famous school periodicals of the time. It contained valuable articles, studies of education in England, annual reports, documents and other entries devoted to professional pedagogy. Cf. American periodicals, 1741-1900.
