In Provincial Congress : Whereas His Excellency Sir James Wright, baronet, at the request of this Congress, hath been pleased to appoint Wednesday the 19th instant as a day of fasting and prayer ... and whereas ... the Continental Congress has issued the following proclamation ... This Congress, therefore, strongly recommends, that both days be kept in a most strict and religious manner .
