Communication from the Governor of Virginia transmitting joint resolutions of the General Assembly of Georgia opposing reconstruction of the late union : January 6, 1861
1861 Georgia resolutions in opposition to the United States and in support of the Confederacy and sent to the southern states. In the communication of Governor Letcher to the Virginia Assembly, the governor included a recounting of the Union actions since Lincoln's inauguration.
