This book was the item supplied by Avery Library as no. 43. A note in the Yale Library catalog indicates that the title given by Park, "Gothic Architecture, Improved by Rules and Proportions," was actually a reissue, with different title-page, of plates in this volume, "Ancient Architecture, Restored and Improved."
Title-page continues: N.B. The editors being at a great expense to compleat the first part, containing thirty two plates; to enable the compleating of the last part, encouragers are humbly desired to pay 7⁵6 on receiving this first part, and 7⁵6 more on receiving the last part, which will contain thirty two plates more with title page &c that will peremptorily be delivered in June 1742. Tho. Langley &c.
