Item Description: | First edition. Title printed in red and black; woodcut crown over imprint, and vignette at the end of the text. Attribution of authorship from BMC. Centered on a short thesis supporting reason over faith, by an unidentified follower of Locke (original English and Latin translation in opposite pages (p. [1]-19), dated at the end: L. 25. Nov. 1701), in 22 points, each of which is examined at length in the Animadversiones (p. 20-203). Followed by 3 related texts (called Accessiones) Each Accessio has half title.
