CRL makes its vast collections of newspapers,
microform, journals, dissertations and other materials available via interlibrary
loan, through electronic document delivery or in its reading room.
The Country and U.S. State pull-down menus list only country or state names
for which there is a record in the catalog.
Search results will show entries subdivided by smaller geographic area within
that country whenever applicable.
If the Center only owns titles from a single region within the country or
state chosen, the search results will be a brief display of all bibliographic
records from that region.
To perform additional newspaper searches using the pull down menus, go back
to the first page of the catalog by clicking on the “Another search”
button (displayed both at the top and the bottom of the search results page).
Examples of search by Country:
The Center holds 46 titles from seven geographic areas within Argentina. Results
for a newspaper search of Argentina will show multiple entries that list specific
cities or provinces in which the paper is published:

The Center holds four titles from Barbados but they are all from Bridgetown,
Barbados. Results for a newspaper search of Barbados would be brief display of
all four bibliographic records.
An example of search by U.S. State:
For most U.S. states, the Center holds newspapers from various counties within
those states. Most searches will result in multiple entries showing specific counties
and cities within those states. A search for Louisiana will result in 58 entries
(first three shown below)
